Quick Reminder For Ramadan

 Quick Reminder for Ramadan:

The most blessed month is coming, the month when Allah revealed the Quran, the time Allah forgives the sinners, and rewards a good deed multiple times. It is a month when we can bring ourselves closer to Allah. The time to enrich ourselves with piousness. Our opportunity to elevate our ranks in the next life.
Let’s take advantage of this holy month to ask forgiveness for what evil we accumulated this year. Let’s reconnect with Allah and strive to improve ourselves.
The scholars said, Allah will only accept a good deed when it’s done under two conditions:
1. The muslim should be sincere and only intend to please Allah alone. Not for show-off, not to gain fame, but to please the Almighty.
2. The good deed should be according to the law of Allah and the Sunnah. It should be free from innovation and falsehood.
For instance, when we intend to help the needy to please Allah, doing this, our money should come from halal income. Another example is when we observe Salah, we should pray how the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him prayed, by not adding or decreasing anything. It’s hard, but if we want to gain the pleasure of Allah the Almighty, it will be easy.
Every day, we strive to work on our studies, careers, and businesses to please others and ourselves. But we are all human beings who are weak and who depend on Allah’s provision. Therefore, no one else is more deserving of our perseverance than Allah.
Ibn Al Qayyim said:
Three personalities split the soul:
1. Dog-like: is pleased with bones, scraps, carcasses, and defilement.
2. Lion-like: it is the same as the dog-like, but he craves for more. He wants to overpower and control other souls, either by truth or by falsehood.
3.Angelic-like:
-it prepares for the highest friendship.
-It has understood knowledge, faith, and love of Allah the most high.
-They run towards him in repentance, being tranquil, at peace with him, giving precedence to his love and pleasure.
-They only take from this world what is necessary to help in reaching its Creator.
-They don’t get distracted by the world and its adornment. [1]
In this Ramadan, allow our soul to be angelic-like, regretful of wrongdoings, and seek Allah’s forgiveness. A time for improvements and fill our shortcomings. Let this month be a remembrance of the favors of Allah and moist our tongue in praising and thanking the Almighty.
May this month encompass us with the mercy of Allah and transform us into virtuousness. May Ar-Raiyan open for us as we fast in this holy month.

How to get OMA certificate in Manila?

Assalamualaykum! Today, I will be sharing how to get a "Certificate of Muslim Filipino Tribal Membership" and a "Certificate of Confirmation of Conversion to Islam," also known as an OMA Certificate.   When I converted to Islam, I didn't have any idea about the OMA certificate until I decided to go to Saudi Arabia; that's the only time I discovered that I needed it for visa stamping.   I've written this because not everyone knows where to go or how to get it. The good news is that the OMA certificate is completely free! and you can have it in just 30 minutes. Now, let me guide you step-by-step on how to get it. Note :  The policy and process might change, as I have written this 2017 Comment down below if you have experienced a new policy; it will be very helpful to others.   Let's make sure first that you have all the requirements that you need.   For born Muslims; a xerox copy of Aqeeqa -xerox copy of passport - 1 piece of 2x...

The Essential Role of a Muslim Woman in Society

I grew up in a small town where you’ll find mansions that were built at the time of the Spanish Colonial. These ancestral houses are captivating and still standing firm like the Mount Makiling that you’ll get a glimpse of from our balcony. This is my hometown where my grandmother raised me. My grandmother got married at a very young age to an older man who came from a well-off family. She was illiterate and could only write her name for signing legal papers. She sacrificed her early age to look after her younger siblings, which caused her not to attend school. But despite this, she is contemplative, selfless, affectionate, and a loving daughter. Even with her husband's problematic habits and age difference, she remained committed to being a dutiful wife. She neither disrespected her husband nor rebelled against him. Her passion for keeping the house tidy, and cooking delicious dishes are among her skills to please my grandfather, and I admire her for that. "Men are in charge o...

Allah is sufficient

Wealth is everyone's dream and trial. Rich or poor, we all want and need money. And with this, Allah tests us. Will you remain grateful? patient? What do we do when we finally have it? Some of us desperately want this because we are tired of being mocked, belittled, and cut because we somehow have nothing to offer. But why do we want to please these people? When Allah himself doesn't like these individuals who prefer this world. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: مَنْ كَفَرَ بِا للّٰهِ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ اِيْمَا نِهٖۤ اِلَّا مَنْ اُكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُهٗ مُطْمَئِنٌّ بِۢا لْاِ يْمَا نِ وَلٰـكِنْ مَّنْ شَرَحَ بِا لْكُفْرِ صَدْرًا فَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ ۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَا بٌ عَظِيْمٌ "Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief, except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith, but those who [willingly] open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them is a great punishment;" ذٰلِكَ ب...
