5 tips to get a good job in Saudi Arabia.

Is it your first time working abroad? Because I am! and I'm happy to share how I got here in Saudi Arabia, working in the best working place. Yes, it is true! It's a nice working place where they give you food allowance, 110% payment for overtime, housing and transportation allowance if you live outside the accommodation, and of course the service award after working 2 years or more than 10 years.

Not everyone has this same situation. Some of us expected to have a nice boss, a decent job, and a good working environment, yet all of this was just the dream of some Filipinos who got deceived. Except if we are all going to be more wise and do some research before deciding where to apply, it's not going to happen to you. That is why I'm here to share some tips, so we are all going to be on the same page.

1. Do not rush: Before going to Manila, try to look for a job first on workabroad.com or on Jobstreet. List down the job position, name of agency, address of agency, and name of employer; all of these details are listed on Workabroad.com.

2. Research: Now, after listing all the details of your targets, Google everything about the agency; are they trusted? Do they have awards? Next, Google the employer company; are they owned by the government? private company? or just another agency here or abroad?

3. Be wise: Find an agency in Manila that is legal and can be trusted. Read some laws from POEA on how to know if an agency can be trusted, so we can avoid being cheated.

4. Do not apply to a subsidiary: If you saw on Google that the employer is just another agency here in KSA, do not apply to it! Did you see those Filipinos complaining about not having salaries? These agencies are guilty. Some agencies give salaries, but they will not be as big as you expected. So, I suggest you try to be wise in doing your research and make sure you're not going to be under the control of an agency.

5. Apply to a company owned by the government. Yes, it is true. I am currently working for the government. And there are a lot of fellow Filipinos that are also working here; most of them have been with this company for almost 16 years. Some have already left and received their service awards. So, this is the best tip that I can give: apply to a company under the government because they will give you a lot of benefits.

The good news is that the OMA certificate is completely free! and you can have it in just 30 minutes. Now, let me guide you step-by-step on how to get it. Note :  The policy and process might change, as I have written this 2017 Comment down below if you have experienced a new policy; it will be very helpful to others.   Let's make sure first that you have all the requirements that you need.   Requirements for born Muslims: -xerox copy of Aqeeqa -xerox copy of passport - 1...

Allah is sufficient

Wealth is everyone's dream and trial. Rich or poor, we all want and need money. And with this, Allah tests us. Will you remain grateful? patient? What do we do when we finally have it? Some of us desperately want this because we are tired of being mocked, belittled, and cut because we somehow have nothing to offer. But why do we want to please these people? When Allah himself doesn't like these individuals who prefer this world. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: مَنْ كَفَرَ بِا للّٰهِ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ اِيْمَا نِهٖۤ اِلَّا مَنْ اُكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُهٗ مُطْمَئِنٌّ بِۢا لْاِ يْمَا نِ وَلٰـكِنْ مَّنْ شَرَحَ بِا لْكُفْرِ صَدْرًا فَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ ۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَا بٌ عَظِيْمٌ "Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief, except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith, but those who [willingly] open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them is a great punishment;" ذٰلِكَ ب...

Quick Reminder For Ramadan

Quick Reminder for Ramadan: The most blessed month is coming, the month when Allah revealed the Quran, the time Allah forgives the sinners, and rewards a good deed multiple times. It is a month when we can bring ourselves closer to Allah. The time to enrich ourselves with piousness. Our opportunity to elevate our ranks in the next life. Let’s take advantage of this holy month to ask forgiveness for what evil we accumulated this year. Let’s reconnect with Allah and strive to improve ourselves. The scholars said, Allah will only accept a good deed when it’s done under two conditions : 1. The muslim should be sincere and only intend to please Allah alone. Not for show-off, not to gain fame, but to please the Almighty. 2. The good deed should be according to the law of Allah and the Sunnah. It should be free from innovation and falsehood. For instance, I remember a sister who is committing Riba told me that whenever she pays her loan she only intends to pay her debt but not the ...
