A Delayed dua, Not a Denial!

I learned something recently. We all know that we are naturally impatient and hasty, right? That's why we often feel upset when we can't get what we want right away.

When we watch a series on Netflix, we can't wait to see the next episode, so we end up binge-watching. If something bad happens to the protaganist, we feel a bit blue, even though we all know that in every story there's always a happy ending.

I asked myself, why feel down when there's always a rainbow after the rain? Why feel blue when you know you'll get what you want, eventually?

Allah may delay our dua, but he hears us and he never forgets our prayers and he always gives us what is best for us at the right time.

I think we all need to remind ourselves--we can let go of our horses if we're tired of waiting; however, it's far wiser if we hold them steady and enjoy our journey while waiting for our prayers to be fullfilled.

And know that whatever we have right now is what's best for us and whatever we don't have is something could harm us. So, why rush toward something you're not yet ready for---especially if it might only bring pain?

How to get OMA certificate in Manila?

Assalamualaykum! Today, I will be sharing how to get a "Certificate of Muslim Filipino Tribal Membership" and a "Certificate of Confirmation of Conversion to Islam," also known as an OMA Certificate.   When I converted to Islam, I didn't have any idea about the OMA certificate until I decided to go to Saudi Arabia; that's the only time I discovered that I needed it for visa stamping.   I've written this because not everyone knows where to go or how to get it. The good news is that the OMA certificate is completely free! and you can have it in just 30 minutes. Now, let me guide you step-by-step on how to get it. Note :  The policy and process might change, as I have written this 2017 Comment down below if you have experienced a new policy; it will be very helpful to others.   Let's make sure first that you have all the requirements that you need.   Requirements for born Muslims: -xerox copy of Aqeeqa -xerox copy of passport - 1...

Allah is sufficient

Wealth is everyone's dream and trial. Rich or poor, we all want and need money. And with this, Allah tests us. Will you remain grateful? patient? What do we do when we finally have it? Some of us desperately want this because we are tired of being mocked, belittled, and cut because we somehow have nothing to offer. But why do we want to please these people? When Allah himself doesn't like these individuals who prefer this world. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: مَنْ كَفَرَ بِا للّٰهِ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ اِيْمَا نِهٖۤ اِلَّا مَنْ اُكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُهٗ مُطْمَئِنٌّ بِۢا لْاِ يْمَا نِ وَلٰـكِنْ مَّنْ شَرَحَ بِا لْكُفْرِ صَدْرًا فَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ ۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَا بٌ عَظِيْمٌ "Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief, except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith, but those who [willingly] open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them is a great punishment;" ذٰلِكَ ب...

3 Things you should do When Allah gives you a Trial.

photo by: Francesco Tommasini 3 Things to do When Allah Gives you a Trial.   Years ago, I had to warn someone who was oblivious about people with bad intentions. The culprits were the people I lov, who were important to me. Nevertheless, I still did what I had to do, the right thing.  What I did resulted in a catastrophe; it was unexpected and took me by surprise. I only wanted nothing but to save them from Allah’s anger. When they found out what I did, they hated me, they slandered me, and they cut me. It was devastating. I cried in my sujood. All I wanted was to please Allah and for the truth to prevail. But somehow, after my concerted effort, the person didn’t believe me and got victimized. Indeed, after this event, I learned to accept that there are things we can’t control. We must be patient and surrender to Allah’s plan. That’s my story and I’m sure it’s different from yours. Nevertheless, whether you lost something or someo...
